Sash horn windows are the most accurate replacement for original timber box sash windows on Victorian and Edwardian properties across Romford and Essex. The curved horns at the base of the upper sash are fully integrated into the frame, a continuous run-through design, not a decorative add-on, giving a period-authentic finish that a plain sliding sash simply cannot match. CII Double Glazing installs sash horn windows using 70mm multi-chambered profiles achieving A+ energy ratings with U-values from 1.3 W/m²K with double glazing, or 0.9 W/m²K with triple glazing, fitted by our own directly-employed team.

Period Detail

Fully integrated horns that are a continuous part of the sash frame, not a decorative add-on. The most period-accurate sash replacement available.

Traditional astragal bars replicate individual pane detailing found on original Victorian and Edwardian sash windows, matching the character of existing streetscapes.

The curved horn at the base of the upper sash faithfully replicates original timber joinery, giving period properties the most sympathetic replacement.

From the street, sash horn windows are virtually indistinguishable from original timber box sashes. Profiles, proportions, and detailing are all designed for authenticity.
